QCF Awards, Certificates and Diplomas - An Explanation

QCF InformationThe QCF awards certificates and diplomas are based on the same principles as the NVQ and much of the assessment criteria and standards are identical, performance criteria or "What you must do" and Knowledge "What you must know" will change and are to be listed under "The learner can" in the QCF units. Performance evidence will be phrased thus; "The learner can turn on a personal computer" whilst knowledge evidence will be phrased thus; "The learner can describe what most types of computer hardware are and how to get the best out of them".

Our new range of resources will help learners to achieve their desired outcomes by effectively teaching the knowledge and skills required to achieve each unit, knowledge evidence will be clearly identified through written assessments and difficult performance evidence will also be identified where appropriate through scenarios etc.

We can supply you with QCF Award, Certificate and Diploma learner training resources that effectively teach and evidence the underpinning knowledge for your chosen award/Certificate/Diploma. These come in single units so you can select the units you want and need. You subscribe and pay an annual fee for each of your units and you will be licensed to print that unit as many times as you need it for learners registered to your centre for the period of your license, the minimum duration for any licence is 2 years.

Our materials are of the highest quality, incorporating the very latest writing technologies such as Neuro Linguistic Programming to ensure learners are engaged from start to finish. Our materials are easy to use for learners and assessors and trials have evidenced up to 20% reduction of time on programme, number of assessor support visits and fewer cancelled/no learner work completed visits.

The delivery style is teach-check-assess, we have text and images with multiple choice activities to check that learners are on track with assessments, scenarios, questions, other exercises and interesting facts to ensure the learner remains interested and focused throughout.

We can send you the units on disk or via e mail, once you have downloaded your order form, read and agreed to the terms and conditions of the annual licence you can then send your order and payment and your units will be dispatched within 7 days. If we amend the materials during the term of the NOS/QCF standards we will send you free updated versions.
